National Technical Museum Prague

National Technical Museum, founded in 1908, is the largest Czech museum institution dedicated to the technical exhibits. Historical story of a car, motorcycle, aviation, marine and rail transport in the Czech lands is happening here.

You can admire the first Czechoslovak car, truck NW President in 1898. Of special note Tatra 80 from 1935, used by President Masaryk, and fighter aircraft Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk.IX of 1945. The liberated country with him returned Czechoslovak airmen fought in Great Britain.

In the first phase opening of the museum after long-term reconstruction is made available five permanent exhibitions: Transportation, Architecture, Engineering and Design, Astronomy, printing and photographic studio.

How to get there:
From the Metro station Křižíkova (Yellow Line B) next the Residence Casa Italia go to the station Namesti Republiky, get out and there pick-up the tram n. 26 and go to the tram stop LETNA

Opening hours: Tue-Sun: 10-18 pm, Monday: closed
