Prague Zoo
Really nice experience is also the Prague Zoo, the zoological garden is situated at area named Troja in Prague 7, opened since 28th September 1931. It is a high-tech garden, showing animals in conditions as close to their natural environment.
The Prague zoo was till 31 December 2009 to see 5345 animals in 674 kinds.In the recent years the number of visitors is above the threshold of 1 million per year. In 2007, the prestigious Forbes Traveler magazine marked the 7th the best zoo in the world.
How to get there:
Zoobus - direct bus No. 112 from the Metro Station Holesovice (Line Red "C"). Rides on weekends and holidays, from April to September, every 10 minutes. This service is operated by the Prague Zoo.
Opening hours: June-August from 9.00 - 19.00
Admission: Adult 150,- Czk (6€), Student 100,- Czk (4€), family 450,- Czk (18€)
