Museum of Communism is a view of the communist era from 1948 to the fall of the regime in November 1989. The museum sees the totalitarian regime in Czechoslovakia from different perspectives, Communism: A dream, reality and nightmare, everyday life, politics, history, sports, economy, education, and propaganda, people's militia, army, police, secret services, including secret police, censorship, judicial and other law enforcement institutions, processes and political labor camps and much more. Visitors to the least zoomed authentic atmosphere and exposure time are processed interesting installation that make you go through the examples of contemporary factory, school or class room, where interrogations took place, all accompanied by historical videos. The advantage of exposures are unusual objects and materials from his own extensive archives of museums and public and personal collections. This is the first museum in Prague, which specifically deals with the system that originated in areas of the former Soviet Union.
How to get there:
From the Metro station Křižíkova (Yellow Line B) next the Residence Casa Italia and go to the third stop MUSTEK. From there you walk into the street Prikope to the number 10.
